Helping You Find Hope, Healing, and Lasting Change

Meet Angela.

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a safe place to process our experiences, gain new perspectives, and find hope. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, addiction and recovery, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, my goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My background & approach

Prior to becoming a counselor, I enjoyed a rewarding career with the Department of Defense, where I had the privilege of serving others in a variety of roles. That experience, along with the perspectives gained through marriage, parenting, and life's many transitions, allows me to connect authentically with clients from diverse backgrounds.

I earned my Master's in Counseling from William & Mary, where I completed the Military and Veterans Counseling (MVC) specialization. I am currently completing my Residency in Counseling under the supervision of Danielle Johnson, LPC.

I work with older adolescents and adults of all ages. I have a special interest in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, addiction and recovery, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also have a passion for serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

My counseling style is client-centered, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we'll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies to help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
